I think I used the 100% silicone stuff. I would do it either way just to be safe, I did mine when I was n/a. It's not hard, just put a small bead all the way around and across all the seams, that way it doesn't leak into other chambers either. Follow all the orange seal it already has on it. Try not to put on too much or you'll have a lot of clean up when you tighten it back together.

I ran LS6 + ported oem TB with the blower combo (9.40@143, 3450 raceweight, 680rwhp@18psi in 2005) and my new turbo setup (9.8@141, 3450 raceweight, 867rwhp@26psi in 2006, need more seat time) runs a LS2 intake + NW 90mm TB. I avoided the FAST because of potential sealing issues. I have a nice Beck sheetmetal intake here for $1400 if anyone is interested.

I am running 15lbs through my FAST and no silicone with no problems.
