Hmmmm.... well I was under the impression that they had to be a direct sponsor. Any ways, the RPM guys know their stuff. Once my PATC transmission goes, it will be off to RPM for a rebuild and transbrake

Over on corvetteforum the majority of the high hp guys are using an RPM tranny. Thay have outstanding service and build a mean tranny.

My trans first went 100% stock. I am on my 4th 4L60E. Why I keep it, I don't know. I have had no problems with my car other than this stupid tranny.

Just hit 50k miles on my car, the past 7000 or so have been with a D1SC. About 4000 miles of that was only pushing 5psi, now I hit as high as 11psi. Only problems I've had is twice the converter wouldn't lock up (pulling over and letting the car sit for 15 minutes or so fixed that problem). I also had that shift solenoid b stuck open code thrown twice. 3800 stall with a tranny cooler as well. I know I'm on borrowed time but we'll see how long before I get a built 4L60E.

I finally gave up after my 4th 4L60E "built" tranny and am switching to a 4L80E as we speak. Trying out a new Edge converter too.
