Yeah,

The tune was done by their new tuner Chris. Jeremy has been on his own for quite some time.

Joel/Alex: The car is in my hands... We met a couple of blocks away, and I drove to my house... Bro, NONSTOP traffic... On 117th I gunned it with some room, and I could only get to 5 psi before letting off... NICE BOV sound btw.

I'll get into it more tomorrow, but I gonna shoot some pics right now while the car cools. Very streetable driving btw, and I am impressed with the Spec 3+. I like how strong the pedal travel is, and it engages very high on the way out... Very stout.

I'll be back with some pics and maybe a vid, but the vid will definitely suck for now until I go find a nice road... Too scared to do that now though, the car ******* wore me out emotionally... Major adrenaline rush. It's been a year driving the same two cars (BMW/Mitsu) to the point that they felt quick to me!!! 200 bhp!!!

I definitely need a couple of days' seat time before going WOT through the gears... Until it feels slow again!

Alright, tried again and stopped... Put her in fourth on the highway and floored it for a second... No problems hooking now!!!

But... As it starts boosting past 14 psi about to peg the gauge, there was a dip in the road that unsettled the rear of the car a bit so I let off. Forget it... Dammit I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to wind the bitch up...

Since I couldn't do much, I took some PICS!

Here they are:

This is the new pod set up. Next to the boost gauge is a kill switch for the methanol, and next to the AF gauge is a light that remains on while active. Methanol is injected after 2 psi progressively.

This is a funny shot many can relate to! Lots of tire shine can never truly hide an often used DR!

This is a shot of the oil cooler that has been positioned in the air dam so air can cool the oil on its way to the radiator.

Now I have *cough* some really strong windshield washer fluid *cough* *cough*

Shot of the new rails.

The control module for the methanol.

This is the new turbo blanket from Forced Inductions. Read that link!:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls1tech-sponsor-feedback/739733-jose-forced-inductions.html

Catch can... I needed this going from 8 psi to 15.

Oh... Something funny. Coming into my driveway, one of my foglights was out. I thought "great." However, I changed them now in one second FLAT by reaching and twisting my hand. I could never do that while stock! Another plus to go FI on an LS1!!!

Enjoy!

More media to come. Maybe I can finally blast this bitch on a good road in the daytime... Will be back soon.

Looks awesome man! A lot of very nice stuff there. I have the same methanol set up as you and am curious what the kill switch is for? Also, are your foglights still mounted on the same bracket on the bumper support or is it a new bracket? Car looks very good man, keep the media coming!

Thanks. The kill switch is to shut the methanol off entirely in the case I think there is a malfunction, leak, whatever reason I might want it off... Of course I plan to have it on always.

The foglights are on the same bracket... The FMIC fits snug in between.

Just had some breakfast, and yesterday seems like a dream... My Sony camcorder charged all night long, and I hope to get some good quality video and sound today.

Awesome, sounds like your loving it, glad your finally feeling your moneys worth! One last question for ya... i really like the oil cooler set up, i feel maybe i should add one to my set up since my twins probably really heats the oil up... what oil cooler is that you have, link? and how is it mounted? If you could PM me some more pics that would be awesome. Thanks a lot and happy to hear your loving the car, 14 psi must be fun

^ Of course, no problem... I'll take a bunch of more pics of the oil cooler set-up.

Honestly, this is one of the jobs that the shop decided to do on its own. Apparently, they had major vaporization problems after repeated WOT blasts... They called me sometime during February, I think, and told me they planned to fit an oil cooler on the car. They bought it and did that all on their own... I don't even know what brand it is since I don't see any lettering, nor can I tell even how it's all working... I'm gonna have to take a crapload of pics and maybe we can both make sense of it! lol

haha, okay thanks man. I think my car needs one as i have a hot oil smell everytime i drive the car decently hard. With some pics of how its mounted and where lines run and such i can probably figure it out. I'm guessing its hooked in line to the oil drain so after the hot oil drains from the turbo, it cools it and send it back to the motor. Thanks a lot, really appreciate it!

Bboy, great to see that you've got the car back and can finally enjoy it. Have you posted the dyno sheet for it somewhere?

You'll spin the 555Rs way too easily now, so welcome to the BFG/MT rear-tires-every-3000-miles club. Or maybe you'll show more self control than I did...

I'm interested in what you think of your clutch as you put miles/passes on the car. I think I may have thrashed my Mcleod twin.

I forget right now, who made the oil cooler. I'll give Kyle a call tomorrow, and see if he can remember.
