Default whats a good gap for 10 psi on TR6s

I gapped my new TR6s at .030 and it definately hiccups/misses on WOT and After 6 psi

did i gap them too close or is there something else like a loose wire/broken plug/ ect?

edit: i checked the wires and all the plugs seem to be connected

maybe the gapper tool i used wasnt precise?? im at a loss and am prolly gonna pull every plug
*sigh*

I've never had a problem at .035 myself. But .030 shouldn't be a problem either I wouldn't think...

lol.. their not that bad.. i dropped one tr6 3 times from my hand while standing and it never broke... possible it would have a hairline crack... but it didn't even look roughed up from the fall... lol.

oh... 30-35 seems to be generaly what everyone is running.

I used NGK's with my stock motor at .035 with no issues. I decided to try out the 5243 Autolites per Ed Wright's recommendation for my current combo, and they have been good to me so far too. They are at .035 also...

If you are having problems with the NGK's, you may want to try the autolites. I never had any problems with my NGK's, but Ed has done a LOT of LS cars, and he said he's seen quite a few NGK's fail.

I run .035 on my TR6's . . . I have tried them once at .030 and it wouldn't run for ****. Put them back to .035 and all was well. I also used to run Autolites when I ran N2O and they always worked great

I doubt it's your plug gap. So many other more probable things at low boost.

well considering the old plugs were gapped at .035 and these are the same NGKs i think plug gap or a broken plug could be at play.

ah i found out what the problem is, 1 of the new NGKs the little cap on the other side of the electrode was missing, i checked the drivers side and the rest seemed ok

its still misfiring slightly so i guess that menas a possible 1-4 are in need of replacing....car is too hot for me to put my hand in, unless i want some nice 2nd degree burns haha
