if you are turboing a stock engine i would go with a 3200 stall. If you are doing heads, cam or any other engine modifications that will alter the powerband then all bets are off.

I have a fuddle 2400. Its very tight for the street and the tbrake allows me to leave at a higher rpm. for the 500-600rwhp range, i think it is a fine converter

I would not reccomend buying a stall rated by RPM. Call the manufacturer and tell them your setup and what you want the car to do. I'm running a 9.5" PI converter in my th400 but i'm making enough power to push through it now. It stalls to 3000 rpms NA on the transbrake and lets me build boost easily on the trans brake or foot brake. It's nice and snug driving around town with my 3850lb beast with 2.75 gears as well. Matching a converter to a turbo car gets tricky and might not be right on the first one.

Sorry... just saw this... It was great with the Procharger, we will see how it does with the new turbo setup.

I loved it on the Procharger F1C though!

PI 3800 in a 4L80E. Haven't got the car tuned yet, but it should work pretty well.

Vig 3800 and a procharger, fun times
Vig 3800 and a turbo, no fun at all.

Tranny guy set me up with a 9 inch 3200 that he guarantees will build boost FAST with the turbo and my new TH400...he set it up tight from what I gathered.

Quick Reply: Turbo guys, what stall are you running..
