Any F Bodies with F1's out there?
 

Would like to know how many F Body guys out there are useing f1 prochargers? I would like to install one on my car but pro charger does not make a kit for the f bodies so if there some one out there that had done this please let me know so i can get stared on this as soon as possible.

This is Kevin's car (KP)... He has been running his F1A for a while now but made some really good runs with the D1SC that he had for some time... EPP I believe has a package that you can upgrade to the F1A if you choose to. I would just give them a call or check out the website...

I'm running an F1. As stated above, call EPP- they can get you a D1 kit and upgrade the head unit to an F1A for a little more. You may as well go ahead and upgrade to the FMIC at the time of ordering while you are at it...

jeff(inspector12) is running an F1 on a 408. i think the only problem he was having was finding a filter to fit. not sure if he fixed that though

The 8 rib drive belt is the biggest issue I see. I want a cog drive but Procharger has no plans for one.

Bob at EPP is also running an f1a on his personal car.i believe they ran low 9's this weekend in memphis

yeah they would have ran faster but they were having tranny problems... Once they got the powerglide in they had a problem of launching in the sky in 1st and 2nd!!! Wowza...

does anyone have a video of an f1 driving and running from inside the cabin? i havent seen one yet.

I have a F1C on my car. a/c, alt, stock water pump, cruise, abs, fmic, etc. the F1C has a bigger inlet than the others and takes a bit of fab on the air inlet to get a air cleaner working. 8 rib drive is all that is available, but i can get the cog setup on one if i wanted.

I am running an F1A with a 402. The best I have done so far is 9.78 @ 150.52 @ 3800 race weight. Definitely call and talk to Bob at Exotic Performance Plus, he will definitely hook you up.

Where can you get the cog setup?

F1 Here, 8-rib, 4" inlet tube and filter. Works for me:)

get the necessary parts from Procharger and do the rest myself... just like all the custom setups.

can any of the F1 series just bolt up to the D1SC bracket?

I know for a fact the F1A does.
