Default **** New Setup-CARTEK 402 + 88MM Turbo ****

We're getting close Motor is in , and the Cartek crew is full steam ahead .

A few details on the build :

Cartek 402 LS2 Block
Diamond Pistons , Callies Crank , Eagle Rods , crank and rods are carry over from the last motor .
ETP-255 Heads ( Sold my AFR 225's and previous Cartek turbo cam to pay for these . )
Cartek Custom Turbo cam (Hydraulic-Roller) designed by Julio . Stock rockers .
LS6 Intake ported by Cartek , stock LS6 Throttle body .
Stock Z06 cast-iron exhaust manifolds .
Turbonetics Y2K88 T6 Single Turbo (Rear-mount) Upgraded from the T4 76mm I ran last year .
Custom STS Front-Mount Air-2-Air Intercooler , upgraded from smaller Bell FMIC from last year .
Motor went in late yesterday , the Cartek crew made great progress today , a few more things to wrap up with fuel rails and some wiring and then it's turned over to Julio to work his magic with the tune .

A few pics of the motor and big STS custom air-2-air FMIC

Nice...

If your car was at cartek back in July I seen it in person... Only asking because that exhaust tubing at the back looks familiar... I seen that on one of the vets and was like OOOH sh*t...

Looks great Mike. Keep us posted on the results.....I might try a rear mount in the future just to see how it compares to my twins....lots of packaging reasons to use a rear mount on an fbod.

I'm not looking to make 2000HP , the LS2 block and ET heads will be fine for my power level , it probably won't see more than 20lbs of boost . And I don't like the added weight of the LSX block , my car has gained enough weight with the big FMIC and 4L80E trans , plus me driving (285lbs) .
