Where do you guys get your liquid turbo cooling from the stock radiator?

Default Where do you guys get your liquid turbo cooling from the stock radiator?

I saw a plug on the bottom right that looks like it could open up and be PERFECT.. anyone use this or know anything about this? Where do you guys get yours? Im sure some of you have tricked out radiators but mine is stock and i think itll be dandy with the stock twin electric cooling fans, pluse i always keep a good eye on all my guages .

my turbo has the ability to be water cooled, I was told not to use it from the place I bought my kit from.......

if it is a ball bearing you need the water..if its a journal you dont really need it

ok thats good info, yea my turbos are ball bearing.... so back to my original question, anyone know anything about this plug? I wanna just pull it and take coolant from there but idk because the radiator is under pressure and I dunno about the way its designed and the return pressure

mine is ball bearing also, do what I did and call the turbo company and ask them....I'm running a garrett, they told me that it wasn't nessary to run coolant to the turbo for a street/strip application...hope this helps....

I work at PTE in repairs and if its ball bearing you need the water. We actually have a new bearing housing that is air cooled. We havent released it yet bet if you were at pri we had one there. They are way better then the garretts!

Used the block off plugs in the back of the intake Speed inc...Drilled and tapped them for some 1/8 or 1/4" fittings and then returned it to the the radiator from the crossover line. APS machined the screw in freeze plugs with a fitting to feed there turbos.
