Default PCV idea/exhaust evacuation

i wasnt happy with using a straight catch can and didnt like the idea of having the turbo inlet suck in possible oil/fumes so i searched for what other people were trying.
I liked the idea of an exhaust evacuation setup that used moving exhaust flow to suck out the crankcase pressure. There was alot of back and forth about if it worked or not putting it in the downpipe. The general consensus was it only really worked if you had a real free flowing exhaust(ie not running it out to the back of the car) or you had a dump/cutout or you ran the hose all the way back past the muffler.None of that worked for me.
SO i eventually found a writeup online(a honda guy believe it or not).He really knew his stuff and tested all the different ways to have a PCV setup and checked how much vacuum it was pulling. He tried something i never would have thought of....using a slash cut pipe in the wastegate tube.his test showed he was pulling about 8" of vacuum when the wastegate opened. So we tried it out and ran a hose from both valve covers T'd into the slash cut pipe.we tested it with a vacuum cleaner and u could feel air being sucked out at the valve covers.no catch can needed because the VC's are baffled.its simple easy and effective and no worrying about oil smell or burning hoses or check valves.just another option for people so i thought id share.

heres the slash cut pipe in the WG tube

heres the T'd to slashcut

Have you checked for vacuum at high rpm's at full boost? I evacuate into the downpipes and run a check valve inline to the valve covers just in case. Depending on the amount of oil you pull, a catch can in between would also help.

i take it you have a check valve though as your pipe comes in at a 90*?

yeah I have a check valve since its as close as it is so I don't have a problem with blow back at idle.

So the pipe off the gate is vented to the atmosphere, correct?
