exhaust for turbo'd firebird?

I've been looking at Nelson racing engines. Specifically the twin turbo 364ci LSX engine, going into a 2001 Firebird T/A.

The difficulty I'm having is finding someone who makes an exhaust kit for one that has been turbocharged. Admittedly, i dont know much about turbochargers. very little in fact. I have been involved in building several N/A motors, but this is new territory for me.

Also kind of new to the board here, I've been looking around, but not posting much. I've heard it's a pretty cool place to be.

Any help here is appreciated.

Any exhaust will be custom, nothing off the shelf. Sure you can adapt it so it'll work with any LS1 cat back if needed but there will be a bit of custom fab adapting the twin DPs into a merge with a cat back.

Stay away from chambered mufflers and no catalytic converters will provide max performance from any turbo kit....

Why NRE, we have quite a few extremely capable sponsors here that'll put a FI package together for you.

I've actually not been here very long, so hadn't looked at the sponsors too much.

My biggest reason for choosing NRE is that I know guys who have engines built by them for track only cars, as well as daily drivers- and they all say they're great.

Also- though i know going with no cats will give the best performance increase, in my state you must have a cat of some kind to pass state inspection. and this is going into a car i will be driving quite a bit on the street. (i'm also going to get a "bad weather" car, since i know driving in the rain and snow with the new beast will be more than a chore).

in reference to chambered mufflers, flowmasters have long been a favorite of mine, im assuming they are not a good choice here? what would you recommend? (again, never built a car with a turbo)

thanks for all the help

i actually wasn't aware they would do it. but that's a pretty solid idea. I could prolly get a local speed shop to fab some stuff up too.

btw, that's a pretty solid name ya got there, lol.
