Bob likes prochargers lol read his thing about the sts kit then about the procharger :p I myselft like the sts kit after researching it for awhile you can make alot of power off it for how much it costs, and integrating the costs of upgrading it which you wouldn't have to do till you built the motor. Just use your stock manifolds wrap them and you will spool alot faster than you would with headers. Thats one reason I wanna go with the sts kit then I could sell my exhaust setup and dump it into other parts of the car that will compliment the turbo kit. Just do alot of research on both.

I made 525hp on a stock motor with cam and some fuel upgrades in a m6 car with the STS kit at 8lbs of boost with meth injection.

PROCHARGER

When I had mine, it was easy to maintain, easy to make stupid power, and the car was used as a daily driver up to 60mi a day. Really never had any issues with it other than belt slip but I fixed that with a SDCE 8 rib upgrade.

The F body procharger kit is a proven product and very complete.

I just got my 02' WS6 done. It's a LPE built 347, STS rear mount turbo with everything upgraded, meth injection, heads and cam package, and about 5K in suspension. I freaking love this thing. But, it's your ride and your money... Let us know what you end up doing though.

Just put a procharger on my ride last weekend. Still breaking in the new motor. Can't even go 1/2 throttle because at 4000 rpms my fuel pressure starts falling from 58lbs.

I can tell you that 1/2 throttle at 4000 rpms is WAAAAY more power than my bolt on / cammed ls1 ever was!

Good luck with your choice but if it were me i'd go procharger. Simpler to install, virtualy no maintenance and proven.

ive been in your boat. you can take this advice or leave it. build up or motor, built up the internals, then go with a turbo. i was HP crazy with stock motor 3 years ago also. dont get me wrong, its still running GREAT (procharger 10psi with great tune MOST IMPORTANT from Bob at EPP) but I wish I would have went with building a motor, then a turbo. But its all your choice. Its fun both ways.
