Rectangle port heads won't fit your bore. So L92/LS3 etc are out. As far as stock castings, 243/799 flow the best but have the highest compression. I guess it depends on what you're looking to spend. Lots of head porters out there do good work for a reasonable price.

I think your best best would be a 243/799 head. I know Mast makes a small bore cathedral head, but I think its 3.9"

You can have them CNC ported for about half the price of aftermarket heads (and a third of the price of MAST heads).

yeah I'm probably just gonna stop there. I could go on for a LONG time...

Almost certainly not. If the valves are any bigger than a stock 2.0 intake valve it will probably not work.

But it all depends on who does the cnc. Either way, there are many other cheaper routes. With those you are paying for the heads (750 each) plus the cnc work and parts to finish them.

To be honest a set of mild ported 799/243 heads are plenty for 1000 + hp on that size engine. All you are going to do is kill the response and low end power by going to a larger runner. The trickflow 205 might be a decent head if it doesn't raise your compression too high. I would not put a 215+ cc head on an engine that size if it were up to me.

lol fix your 243 and turn up the boost. plenty of guys making 700-800 whp on untouched 862s so nothing wrong with 243s.
