Question Rear Mount Wide Band???

For the guys running rear mount turbos and wide band o2's where did you put your wide band sensor. I am use to front mount stuff and it goes in the down pipe but that seems to be a bit out of reach?

I have mine in the y-pipe - location that one of the rear O2 sensors would have occupied

i dont have a wideband yet but thats where the 02 bung is, and thats where i plan on keeping it. I dont know about any extensions he kept the wideband and wiring he left the sensor on there.

you want it post turbo.

a few have mentioned in the past the backpressure from the turbo will screw up your readings if you keep it pre turbo

Mine's in the passanger header collector. Works great for me. I also have high-flow cats, so putting it in the downpipe (after the cats) would give me a skewed reading.

My LC1 would flatline rich due to pressure before the turbo. I just had to run the extra wire to get it post-turbo.

did you buy an extention, or did you just cut and add wire, would that be safe for the readings to get in the downpipe?

I have the AEM unit and I ran the wires from the rear up through the shifter under the dash to the pod. I had more the enough wire from the kit.

Good call I may consider re-routing the wire.
