Default What pulley combo for more boost????

i gave a vortech t-trim on my built lt1. But, the pulleys i have is the crank is the 6.6 and the sc pulley is the 3.1 i believe. Im only seeing around 6lbs. Does anyone know the combos or what a 2.7 would give me? Im only going to change the sc pulley for now.

I was seeing ~11.7# on my 383 with a 7" lower and a 2.95" upper. The 2.75", especially in basic black anodized, can give you a lot of belt slip on the T. Best would be going to an 8" on the crank. If you can only do the blower, look at Vortech's hi-traction pullies - they have a rougher surface and are hard anodized instead of the more slippery regular anodizing.

Jim,
I know this is an old thread, but just for clarification, are you referring to this type of pulleyhttp://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=44? And if so, is it suitable for all makes since it doesn't specify what application it is for?

Thanks
