Default I'm getting excited.

Last October I was getting major blow by so I stopped driving the car. I put about 40 miles on it between October 07 and the end of April when I finally got to tear it down. Piston #7 was dead. Today I dropped the block, new pistons/rods and bearings off at the machine shop to get cleaned/balanced and ready to be reassembled.

I get it back next week.

I can't way to get this car running again.

Carnage:

It feels like Christmas with all the parts that have been arriving. I think that feeling will end when I get the credit card bill though.

Nice, I know the feeling but Horsepower is an expensive drug. What are you looking at for a new setup and are you going to completely forge your block?

Other than the stock crankshaft the motor is going to be forged..
Diamond -2cc pistons
Callies Rods
PRC 6.0L heads (72cc to drop compression)
Swapping from 4" to 3.4" blower pulley (7.65" crank)

I also....
Ordered a PY3400 to replace the Fuddle
Ordered a FLT Level 5 4l60e
Bought Koni Shocks/Strano Springs
Bought TTm anthracite wheels
Ordered UMI k member, LCA's, torque arm, panhard bar, torque arm relocation mount
Ordered Lonnie's fuel system (overkill but I'll never have to deal with that stuff again... I hope)
Bought ARP head and main studs
Bought a TCI flexplate
Bought TSP 1 7/8 headers
Bought the ATI Race Bypass valve
I'm going to sell the GMMG and have true duals put on (over the axle)

I need to order a 9" and driveshaft as soon as I figure out what gears to go with.

Hopefully the car is a bit more fun when it's all said and done.

Nice upgrade! I feel your excitement, my block is also at the machine shop and I can't stop thinking about getting it back to start putting everything back together.

Thanks. I figured I might as well do it all while I'm at it.

I'm going to try and find a local guy who did the ones on Mr. Luos's car. He did an awesome job. He was working for Exhaust Pros but then opened his own shop. I need to find his number.
