I got a 16" pusher from summit (2500 or 2700 cfm) for around a $100. Much better than using questionable parts from a junk yard. Just search "pusher fans" on their site, they offer alot more than what is in their catolog.

Depends on the fans. I was all ready to flip the blades when we did the car, but on a whim I glanced at the instructions and it just said change the wires. Makes sense that you can flip the wires on a DC motor though, I dont know why it wouldnt work, but then again Im no EE.
