Default OFI guys...how did you run plug wires?

I've seen a few posts where guys had to zip tie their plug wires. I'm running 10.4mm wires on a relocation kit and with the longer straight boots I'm getting header contact on every wire. Did anyone change out to 90 or 45* boots?

Are you running your wires under the headers?

I'm planning on running 90* boots on mine and going under the headers, don't know where I will put the coils yet, but won't be on valve covers.

BTW, I bought that SLP shortened spark plug socket and it worked great.

i use the msd wires...bend the boots to about 70 degrees (afraid ill break them if i bend them more) and zip tie to coil pack brackets. I really need a wire with a 90 as it clears the plug

How hard is it to cut off the straight boots and put 90's on? Do I need special tools? Could I just goto the auto parts and get the stuff. Not sure since my wires are 10.4mm.
