Just dyno'd with new blower I'm pretty dissapointed. Car started acting up on the way home too :( https://i153.photobucket.com/albums/.../dynosheet.jpg |
Good looking car you have there. How did it feel? How was it acting up? |
Thanks man! After I pulled out it felt like it had a slight miss under acceleration and really sluggish. I thought I could feel a bit of a vibration but I don't know if that was because of my hightened state of paranoia lol |
Believe me, its just paranoia. My car felt the same way after it put down 540 rwhp. When you actually see the numbers, you realize that you have HIGHLY modified your car, and your 1st inclination is.... When is the mother f**ker gonna break. BTW, nice numbers. Nothing to be dissapointed about. The AF looks good (i assume that boosted cars prefer to run a little rich). Enjoy it man, its a stout car. |
the biggest thing i'm concerned about is the fact that it felt way faster before but the last few days seems like it has been sluggish. |

Ya heat and humidity kills my car by about .5 at the track and 50hp on the dyno. It sucks balls. |
what are the specs on the car??? how much boost??? |
have a intercooler? |
well if it feels like its missing or sluggish, check out the spark plugs and some filters. Im sure its something minor if your car is still putting down number like that. Good numbers though. |
Is it me or your AFR is in the 10's If so thats way too much GAS! |
Its a forged 355 8.75:1, Procharger f1a@13 psi. EPP front mount, Procharger race bypass, 9 inch rear, mcleod street twin clutch, full bmr suspension. Thats about all worth mentioning lol oh and a mail order tune. Yes the afr is in the 10's for a bit. All filters are new as well as oil and spark plugs from last week. Humidity wasn't bad at all :( |

Then thats part of the problem AFR is way too rich and I bet it has little to no timing in it. Kiss your plugs good by and your O2s.:D Get that thing tuned on the street or dyno and it will ripp!:chug: |
A tune is in the works, i'm going to bu a some meth injection soon and swap to a smaller pulley and get a real tune. I did hear some good news, alot of the local guys I have been talking to said that dyno has been giving screwy numbers and acting up the last few weeks. A new shop is opening up soon with a dynojet so i'll have to hit them up I think. |
What size pulleys are you using? I could probably make 450rwhp with an M6 with no blower at all on a dynojet, you are way down on power.. Unless the dyno is really flakey, at least whatever tune it is is safe. But you really need to get the car to someone who can spend some time on the dyno and make sure the tune is good. |
