Using a DCR calculator (you can find this in the internal section), you want a cam with zero overlap for turbo applications......to keep from blowing the forced intake charge out the exhaust. The 114LSA is decent and the #'s look doable. I ran a CC228 w/ .588 lift on a 115LSA when I had the STS installed. Cam worked wonderfully in this application. Anyhow, just my $0.02. BTW, my CC228 cam is currently for sale in the Parts section, but I used it on a stock 346 bottom end. For a 6.0 I'd probably go for a little more duration and lift. Good luck in your search. :) |
Thanks Schantin, I was thinking that this one would work out OK, because of the extra lift/duration on the exhaust, I didn't think about bleeding off cylinder pressure. Also, I was expecting a little more lift on both sides. I was really hoping some one on here was running a similar cam. |
