I'd have to ask Jim but I thought mine was leveling off around 6500 rpms.

That is good power thru a 4l80e. Just for head comparison's for you, I started out with Dart225 head's out of the box and made 922rwhp at 18psi and then all we did was swap to AFR225 heads and at the same boost i made 1089rwhp. Obviously the AFR heads flow much better and the larger port's!
It was worth the change over for me,plus the thicker deck height. There was other tuning done as well for the better air flow, but pound of boost for pound of boost, the AFR's are much better in my application.

The biggest thing on your heads Chris is the stainless ex valve, wont last a long time drag racing it at that level.

New heads, solid roller and big stick would surely make some steam

I am sure the power is plenty enough for me for now.Have to keep my eye on the classifieds over the winter to see if anyone is trying to get rid of their afr 225's(yeah i know not much chance in that).

No, i dont mess around with editing. We did some 1/4 mile pulls on it today to see how it would hook the rollers (it didnt). It ran like a 11.3 @ 130 with a 2.0 60ft lol.

We should know tommrow for sure what she really does.

Sounds like Ted will probably have to ease into the throttle some off the start to give it a chance to hook up.
