How much knock is actually dangerous(ATI)?
In doing the tuning, I'm still getting some knock between 1 and 3 degrees.
One example of a run is 2-3 degrees from 2700 to 5500 in 2nd, make the shift to third, and 0 knock from 4000 to 5500. In this run, I observed the knock immediately as I stabbed the throttle at 2700rpm.
Is this amount of knock dangerous on a FI setup, if its actually real knock? If I could potentially be in dangerous territory, I'll back things off alot more, then continue in small steps. But if 3deg max wont hurt anything, I'll play around with small changes to my current Timing tables. BTW i'm running 93 octane

Re: How much knock is actually dangerous(ATI)?
Forgot to delete the MAFT from my sig.
I'll throw in some Sunoco 100 and see if it makes a difference.
I think I have things tuned pretty conservatively, but I am constantly getting small amounts of knock in 1st and 2nd. The thing is I'm getting none or very small amounts(.1-.3) in third and fourth.
But I will try the race gas just to be on the safe side.
Thanks,

You can try adding a little to the ve table in that rpm range where you usually get on it. Might help counter the tip-in lean-ness.
