New Turbo's arrived!

Apparently there was a misunderstanding or the salesman was confused, but none the less they are a Turbonetics T76mm Ball bearing turbo, BUT they have the T4 3in. exhaust housing just like my old turbo's instead of the 4in. outlet! That is good , because I already bolted them up onto the car and they actually fit under the hood still! Anyway's, they are still rated for the 900-950hp each, so i am happy, and do not have to have new exhaust! I will get some pics up later. Going testing tommorrow night!:D

Maybe its a blessing in disguise. The 3" outlets might help a little more on the lower midrange power. I doubt they'd limit you at all up top. Best of luck, keep us updated!

Congrats, good luck let me know what happens, I am very interested... Did you do any upgrades other then your old turbos to your new ones. I'm talking engine wise.

Reject Oct 9, 2008 04:05 PM

reason he upgraded was becuase one of his old ones finally crapped out...... so he wanted to buy two brand spanking new ones lol!

Actually I went with the bigger ones foe the new motor next year. These are quite larger and look alot better in the engine bay and still fit under the hood!

Yes. My main concern is that they are capable of making the power that I am looking for next year.

Twin 3" DP's is enough for 1800-1900hp on petro.
