What is this part? It clicks a LOT!
Hey guys, I just completed my motor swap in my 1998 Z28 and have a question about the part pictured below in the attachment.
When I put my stethoscope on this part, it clicks like crazy and at a faster pace than the injectors. It was replaced with the new motor.
I have a slow, intermittent vibration that doesn't seem to coming from the motor its self (meaning the motor doesn't miss, but has a vibration every half second or so).
I have read that the FPR for the 1998's was in the pump, so what could this be, as it references the vacuum from the manifold, and is connected to something that looks like a return line.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Thank you for the help!
Is it normal for it to click very fast for the entire time the car is running(although I only tested it when the car had been started after a long cool down). It seems to me like it would eventually wear out.
