Default single entry into fuel rails, how bad?

guys, so Ive been seeing pics of ls1s with aftermarket fuel rails, with a single entry.

I thought this was a no-no???

I personally think it looks cleaner. so , is it ok to just have one line going to the rails and then a crossover, then a plug at the end of the other rail???

how much power will this support? what are the limitations/dangers of doing it this way?
