How often to change fuel filter?
Personnally, I change them when the fuel rails start to see a drop in fuel pressure...which can turn out to be seemingly never in many cases. But, not everyone rides around with Autotap running in their passenger's seat and a pillar mounted fuel pressure gage staring them right in the face.

So, if you're not so **** about keeping tabs on every single little aspect of your car (like me), and as cheap as fuel filters are, why not change it every 10,000 miles whether it needs it or not? (Sawedoff, I'm agreeing with you again.
.)FWIW, my '01 Suburban has over 60K miles and runs great with the original filter (I'm not suggesting for anyone to run one this long. It's just that I like to experiment.) My '02 Z28 has 28K on the original filter and has shown no drop in fuel pressure to date. Based on past experience, I doubt there will be any within the next 100,000 miles, but then again, I could get a bad tank of gas tomorrow. It just depends on how clean your gas is...much like with air filters. Live on a dirt road? They won't last long.
