Who's running E85? I woud like to know who is running e85 and what did they change and how big did they go on injectors and fuel pumps ? Im seriously thinking of converting my car over so i need all the info i can get from everyone. And if possible how much did they gain in trq/hp ? I have a custom grind comp cam 236/236 615/609 @ 115 lsa, also support mods ,ls6 intake, hsw plate kit 150 shot, #42 green tops and walbro 255 as of right now...So im wondering what all will i need to change and make e85 safely.also this a street/strip car not a dd |
E85 requires 33% more fuel delivery to make the same power as with gas. If you are about 550-600 with your nitrous shot on gasoline you will need 730-800rwhp worth of fuel delivery to make the same power. One of our stage 3 street kits is the way to go dual pumps in the tank one runs the motor the second would kick on with your nitrous kit. The 42# injectors would be maxed on E85 as well I would rec. stepping up to 60#inj. Any other questions feel free to give me a call I will help you out. |
So i am going to have to upgrade lines and stuff to than ?? Im guessing to support that much power.Im also thru a th400 so its gonna take a lil more power away to.And u sell the hole kits to do the conversion and the injectors too?? |
Yes new lines are in order. We do offer complete custom kits to fit your setup requirements. Give me a call I will get you an idea of what you need to do it. |
E85 is the way to go if you can afford it. It does require a compatible fuel pump(s) and fuel lines. You should also check your fuel filter frequently for the first couple hundred miles as a number of people have had sludge from their gas tank break free and clog the filters fairly quickly. |
