Default -8 Fuel Line Does this sound right?

im about to convert my system to a return style, here is what i come up with...

Dual walbros y'd together with -8 bulkhead out of the factory sender
-8 line to the passenger side rail
-8 crossover
-8 out of the drivers side rail into a FPR
-6 return connected to the factory feed metal line
and the other outlet on the fpr blocked off

is this right or am i missing somthing?

make sure you give the walbros good power wires and solid frame or battery grounds

I see some use a Y fitting for the two pumps and others use a T. Does it make a difference. These pumps have built in check valves right?

yes the walbros have built-in checks. it only matters if you are going max effort what shape your merge is.

i have my regulator before the rails which is the optimal way to do it. mine has 3 ports. it feeds in one side and goes out the other side which then goes into the rails. the return comes out of the bottom of the regulator, and back to the tank.

and like mightymouse said, the ground is just as important as the power to the pumps

it goes into one rail and then crosses over to the other? does the other rail then connect back to the regulator before the return?

regulator is best AFTER the rails or you will get pressure dip when fuel is demanded. with the regulator before the rails you have an expensive version of the stock system

pressure line -> rails -> regulator -> return line

thats how its listed to be hooked up in the instructions... also if there are 2 feed ports, and one return port, what would you do, just cap one? that doesnt seem right

well the way i said it is preferred

the extra port is if you want to connect it after both rails instead of just one.
