Do you plan on upgrading in the future?

A single walbro 255 will work, I ran 2 255s in my car just so I have lots of room to grow!

Also a 42# injector will be fine as well, but again if you plan on going over 500whp I would go to 60#s just so you never have to worry.

if you wanna be safe 2 255s and 60#ers will by far outlive the stock shortblock.

42lb x 8 = 336 /.5 BSFC = 672 - at only 45psi if you jack the pressure up to 60psi then a 42 will support 776hp

external mount 255 walbro gs340m will support only 690 at 100% and 13 volts.

twins are safer - tons of fuel flow and good pressure is the best insurance one could ask for.
