Default Need advice on fuel pump noise....

I am running a carbed 6.0 in my 67 chevelle. It is a Holley pump that I mounted on rubber underneath the car. The pump will drive a person nuts with all the noise it makes. It would not be a problem if this was a drag only car but I do take it to cruises and my kids ride in the back seat. If it bugs me in the drivers seat it must really bug them. Anyways, does anyone have any suggestion? Put a new pump in the tank? Or will a different style external pump be the answer? (running a holley blue at this time)

throw a pump back in the tank with a reg and return.most external pumps are loud,my old holley red pump was not that loud but my a1000 was very loud.
no one bash me for this redneck idea please, you could put some dynamat around the pump body this may make it quite but probly not lol
