Default fuel injector reccomendations??

I don't know much about fuel guys but I'm getting ready to mod to the next step, a 230/230 custom cam.

other mods I will be running:
-custom tune
-custom 230/230 cam
-241 Heads w/ patriot dual gold valve springs
-ported & blueprinted LS6 oil pump
-Kooks LT's
-SLP loudmouth
-monster lvl 3 clutch/ 28lb flywheel/ tick master cyl./ gm slave cyl.
-K&N w/ SLP lid
-edelbrock throttlebody
-some suspension mods
-racetek fuel pump
-LS2 timing chain
-Air/EGR delete
-Tick lvl 2 Transmission

so my big question is, what size fuel injectors should I be looking at buying? I was thinking maybe 36lb injectors but would 42lb injectors work or no? be too big?

thanks, I just can't decide what is right...

Stock injectors will be fine for your setup. Well, as long as they are the 28 lb'rs.

you have a 2000? then the injectors are 26lb rated at 58psi.. So actually they are 22lb injectors, You will be on the top of the duty cycle with those. I would suggest 30lb that will run 36 at your pressure. You are getting a custom tune so get what you need. We have Brand new ls1 30's on sale in flow matched sets for 249 plus your stock set.

sorry, there is just too much if your not sure. Here is the injector you should get. They are 32@43.5 and will be 36 in your rail. They will be a snap to tune as they are the LS1 type 3 Bosch. These are 100% Ethanol compliant. Flow matched means that these sets are pretested from a large batch. The set is made up from injectors that all flow the same.

Regardless of the size, preferably get an injector which is/was used in a factory GM vehicle so that the calibration data is easy to plug into the tune. I believe that FIC's Bosch III modified units only have their orifice size changed to flow more, which means the only item you need to change in the calibration is the flow rate, right Jon (FIC)?
