What's going wrong in my fuel system? Been kinda putting this off for a little while since it hasn't been a big deal but now I wanna know. In my formula, it takes a few cranks before it fires up, don't have to stop cranking, let it sit for a sec, then try again but I have to keep letting it crank for a few seconds before it will fire up. If I let the fuel pump prime and turn it over just as it stops priming, it fires right up. I've heard this is the fuel pressure regulator but also heard it could be a punctured line or maybe even the ignition cylinder? What do you guys think? |
Until you measure your fuel pressure you are only guessing. How much running? How much cranking? how fast does it bleed off? |
Haven't checked the fuel pressure yet..I'll have to do that in the next couple days |
No one? |
I tried, but without fuel pressure info, we are all wasting our time. A good answer requires good info to give an educated response. I'm not going to give you 50 options so you are wasting time with a bunch of guesses. |
Like stated above. Get us KOEO and KOER fuel pressures. Also how fast does it bleed off? |
Alright..I'll get a gauge after this weekend and test it since I'll be a bit busy |
