Install -8 feed and -6 return without dropping tank?

I am upgrading to a -8 feed and -6 return and I am wondering if it is possible to install everything without dropping the tank? To me it looks like its going to be a huge pain in the ass.

I am getting a stage 3 kit from nasty nate, that is the system i am installing.

You can use the access hole method. That is what i did on my 97 camaro for installing a pump and upgrading to -8 feed and -6 return. It is the easiest way without dropping the tank.

The hole is already cut, I already have the basket out of the car and sent to lonnie for double pumps. It just looks like its going to be a huge pain.

It was a bit of a pain in the rump when i did mine a few weeks ago. With the basket out i added the fittings for -8 and -6 then put it back in then started to measure how long i needed for my fuel lines and made them. I run a magnafuel filter so had to add that into the system. I ran the lines along my subframe connectors and up through the original hole in the engine bay for the fuel lines.

It can be done without dropping the tank, but it is tight, and not a lot of fun.

You should drop the tank regardless.

Look at it this way...

You have a 10+ yr old car that could accumulate a lot of stuff in the tank over that time span.

You have a high HP car that relies on dependable fuel delivery.

You have a lot of money in your car since it obviously makes enough power to need a $1k fuel system.

...Then you are willing to cut corners & risk pump failure/engine damage by not spending the extra hour to drop the tank & clean it out.

Do it right the first time.

How many feet of fuel line did you use if you run the line in the stock fuel line location?
