Anyone ever weigh a fbod Nasty Nate aluminum fuel tank? TIA

It's pretty light, bout 15 pounds if I could guess.

I would have guessed 15-20lbs too....surprised no one has thrown one on a scale...

I installed one, it was a nice piece. However, the straps would not and could not fit around it. I ended up cutting them and adding a 1 inch sheet metal section to each to make them longer. They fit perfect after this. The other thing is that there is no gas filler neck on it, only a short piece of pipe that is not the same size as the stock filler pipe. I had to weld an adapter to the 2 inch piece of steel filler neck and size it down to 1 1/4 to match the aluminum inlet on the new tank.

You must have been installing it on a 98. 99's and up have a 1.25" rubber filler tube...should mate up. I've read the straps are too short and have bought longer bolts and 1" bolt sleeves to bolt it up. Looks like a pretty good tank.
