Fuel injection hose okay to use as a replacement from the pump to the filter?

Fuel injection hose okay to use as a replacement from the pump to the filter?

My stock nylon line needed to be replaced. We're talking about injection hose, not regular fuel line. Is it okay to use from the top of the gas tank pump to the fuel filter by the LR tire as a replacement?

The fuel injection hose can be used, but is expensive at $8 or $9 per foot.
Dorman offers the nylon hose. Don't have a price on that, but cant be that expensive.

Thanks! Actually I had already bought it before I made this thread. Autozone had 3/8" for $4 per foot.

It's the ends you can not just clamp them hose clamps wont last with the high PSI.

I'm using 2 on each end and they are not your normal worm gear hose clamps. These are made specifically for high pressure and not to damage the line. They are fuel injection clamps.
