What does 3bar and 4bar when it comes to injectors?

The bar is the metric reading I believe the injector flows at that pressure. 3 bar is the equivalence of 43.5 psi. For example a 42lb/hr at 3 bar injector will flow at 42lb/hr with 3 bar(43.5 psi) of fuel pressure in the rail. Hope this helps, Zach.

Taking that further, increasing the pressure causes the injectors to flow more.
We have a few fuel calculators on our site, the calculator on the bottom will give you an idea of how fuel pressure chances affect the flow of an injector.

3 bar (or 43.5 psi) is the industry standard pressure for rating the static flow of an injector. Many of the late model GMs use a 4 bar system (58 psi), so the injectors in these applications will flow more fuel than they are rated from the manufacturer.
