Default Do you guys like the Aeromotive 1000 pumps

I was deciding on a aeromotive 1000 fuel pump for my ls2 procharger build in my 68 camaro. But recently, a few guys on ls1gto.com recommended that i not go with it and go with a magnafuel pump... idk help

I know a few people that run the A1000 and have had zero problems with them. One of the guys has about 30000 miles on it.

Go with a Magnafuel pump and be done with it. I don't think you will find one person that has the experience with both that would say to go with an A1000.

The magnafuel prostar 500 is a great pump. Doesn't need the voltage regulator like the aeromotives really should have.

i never had a controller on my one a1000 when i had only one. and it ran fine for years. and now i still have no controller and my first pump is wired to a 12v switch and my second pump is on a boost switch so it turns on at a ? amount of boost

I have a new Magna MP 4302 for sale if interested, with pre filter. I went back to in-tank pump. Pump has about 4 dyno runs on it. PM if interested.
