Default $90 Ebay Rails or $100 Edelbrock Rails

Who here has ran either rails? Looking to get some feedback on either ones.

Edelbrock http://www.ebay.com/itm/Edelbrock-36...dcb4df&vxp=mtr

$90 ebay ones, amazon has same rails for few bucks cheaper though

---------------------------------

I have an 5.3L that I'm swapping over to LS6 intake.

I currently have two different sets of truck injectors.

Injectors on top has around 60k and my harness I'm modifying is currently wired for the plugs for these ones.

Injectors on the bottom has 40k give or take. I have the pigtails and connectors for these so I can wire them in if I want to use them.

In conversion/Hybrid section I found a thread where someone is using truck injectors with aftermarket rails on LS6 intake. I would just need to fab up some custom hold downs for the rails cause the truck injectors are shorter.

I would like to just swap over to LS1/LS6 injectors but cost of new pigtails and injectors doesn't seem worth it when all I would need to do is fab new bracket hold downs to run truck injectors that I already have

I'd choose the rails that have o'ring fitting threads in them. The npt threaded stuff is JUNK, imo...On top of that, they look like Fido's *** w/ the threads showing, along w/ the teflon tape...

Which part on the rails he's referenced do not have o-rings? The inlet/outlets? I can't tell if they're machined to accept o-rings or they're if they're NPT.

Not sure. I think I'm just going to purchase some FAST rails from an sponsor.

In this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...s6-intake.html someone mentioned FAST injector spacers which I had no idea existed. Think these would work out in my favor. It would just save me the time of creating new mounting brackets since truck injector is shorter.

Just got LS1 injectors. Going to go junkyard digging for EV1 connectors before I decide to buy new pigtails to solder in.

Guys think I can get some money outta either of these truck injectors and connectors/pigtails? One set has 60k other around 40k.

I have all 8 connectors.

Second set.

Also have all 8 connectors for these too.

I found a few different sites with decent prices for fast rails.

After buying those ebay rails(if I were to buy them) I would still need all four fittings at the ends. That almost totals the amount for a FAST set. So might as well go that route. Just need hose and other fitting for crossover.

I wish the fast rails were black or polished. Guess I could do that later, I dont care for the red/blue fittings.

Im looking into this aswell. The holley rail setup seems to be the best as the rails are black and has all the fittings and line.

Any input is great! This is for my 4.8 with ls1 intake going into 95 truck.

why will they not fit? They say that they fit bosch injectors.
Do you mean that you will need to fab up a bracket for it?

You'll have to mod, but they dont bolt up.

I just drilled holes in the bottom of the rail, made some L brackets. bolts come through and bolt to factory location.

I just ordered these, I'll make'em fit, lol. To tell the truth a friend has them on his ls1 so I know they will fit, he made some simple brackets to hold them in place, not a big deal. They look awesome on his car!
