Default Fuel pressure on the return side?

Hi guys please forgive my stupid question.
I am retrofitting a 2001 5.3 truck motor into a classic impala, just wondering what kind of pressure the return line has? i am running both feed and return lines and i know the pressure on the feed side just unsure of what kind of pressure is in the return side? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What type of fuel pump and regulator are you using?
If it is an after market external with the regulator on the fuel rail the return line is not pressurized.
If you are using a 4th gen in tank fuel pump module the fuel pressure regulator is in the module pressurizing the return line
