Default Fuel setup for this cam?

Ordered a 233/239 112 LSA, with .650 dual springs.

01 SS, A4 will be installing SS3600 converter from yank.

I will have polished stock heads with this setup.

When I called and talked to texas speed they suggested getting F.A.S.T. 36lb. injectors. https://www.texas-speed.com/p-174-fa...ons-legal.aspx

Will these be correct for my setup? Is the stock fuel pump fine, I just need the injectors?

Will the injectors make a noticeable difference?

Thanks guys.

You will need injectors. The Fast is just to pricy for my taste. I had the factory 28 lb. injectors with a torquer V2 and my injector duty cycles were like at 92 percent. I went with racetronix 42's. That cam is even bigger so you will probably be at 100 percent at wide open throttle. Thats not good. The injector is just continously spraying with no breaks in burst. This will lead to premature injector failure. So injectors are a must. The FAST intake is all on you. But man that a stiff price for two pieces of injection molded plastic. I used to work in the injection molding business and you would not believe how inexpensive they are to make.

You went with 42lb injectors? Is there a way I can find out what would be best for the cam I chose?

some 36# injectors would do you some good. Call FIC

you could even go to 42# and still have plenty of room to grow

if Naturally aspirated and you have a cam and/or heads mods you will be fine with 36# or 42#, whichever you like. both will run fine, 42 will leave more breathing room.

if you want data with injectors call vendors and ask if they can provide it. I will guarantee if you purchase 36# or 42# with a cam/head ls1 or even ls2 they will run fine if you go in the tune and change the IFR table and look at the injectors min pulsewidth and slightly lower the min pulsewidth and short pulse adder tables, and set the short pulse limit to 2.5.
you will still likely have to tune the VE table but that is the basics of it
