Started on dual walbros on my '98 and was curious if I actually need the fuel sensor on the hat. I was going to enlarge the hole and put my bulkhead in place of it. We don't have e-checks or nothing of that sort.

I'm working on this as well, I don't think there is any reason to mess with the sensors. I assume you're running a new feed and using the factory feed as a return (as I am), just pull the factory return line, enlarge the hole, and stick the bulkhead in it's place.
