Truck intake?

Truck intake? Can anything be done to these to make them better? I am doing a very budget build and if I stay fuel injected I won't have the money to buy an intake. This is going to be a turbo aplication also. Not shooting for high numbers just something that will move my 4000# brick down the drag strip.
