Default Kenne Bell BAP blown fuse

I just replaced my stock pump with a DW300 an it blew the 30A inline fuse to the BAP. I believe the BAP is a 40A unit but it came with a 30A fuse. I'm not sure about just installing a 40A fuse in there though.

Has anyone had this issue or similar? The BAP voltage was set to the max setting so I have lowered it but I want to make sure the 30A will live or if a 40A is safe or if I need to hotwire the entire thing. 2007 ls2 ctsv.

Thanks!

Though sold as a 40A unit, the peak capacity is 32A, nominal 20A. At 32A things get warm quickly. I'm going through the same thing trying to power a late model CTS-V fuel module.

Don't go larger on the fuse, the wiring and holder are not up to the task.

The dual 40A unit outputs cannot be tied together.
