In doing our new engine used a 58T crank and sensor in a early block with old style cam sensor(had been told this would work) using megasquirt, car starts and idles fine, when you give any throttle bucks surges wildly, now getting conflicting stories on running this mis-matched setup..anybody delt with this ? thanks Rob

That it starts and runs tells you the setup works fine. The bucking and surging is prolly a tuning issue...
