Default racetronix help

Got my new filter sock from racetronix and there is no return fitting for my filter sock. Instructions don't say anything about return line in filter sock. Car is a 1998.

Not sure about the 98 but my 2000 just has the sock on the intake side of things attached to the pump

I don't see a need for a sock on the return side..it's fuel that has been already filtered by the pickup sock as well as the fuel filter. Pretty sure it is safe just dumping right back into the tank. In theory it could catch junk from corroded lines or fuel rail or something odd like that but it would clog your regulator and injectors long before it became a problem in the tank.

Did you have one before? I haven't seen such a thing in the wild but I haven't seen everything.
