Default 1998 Turbo Build. Fuel line upgrade question

Hey guys,
I have a 1998 Camaro with an lq4 and a nearly finished twin kit. I am exploring the option of using my factory feed line as my new return, and purchasing all the necessary fittings to upgrade my feed. My question is, will this be as simple of an upgrade as I'm thinking? Will i be able to unplug the factory feed, get rid of the factory return, plug factory feed into return location, and install new snap in connectors and new line? Any info and/or pics is appreciated. Thanks

If your doing all that work, why wouldn't you just step up to -6an return? I see no point spending all this money on a build, all the work that's been put in, and then using a swapping a stock line for another stock line. You can buy line for under $150 for 20ft

I would rather spend that $150 else where. If the factory feed will be sufficient as the new return, which from what I have read it will, then that is the route I want to pursue. I'm looking for advice from people who have done this already. Thanks for the advice though
