Smile Return line restriction in tank

Having a problem with my return line. With it connected up my fp is hitting 70 psi and won't go lower than 70 psi. When I disconnect the return fuel line right before the fuel tank I can lower it to 56( where I want it)
I have a 87 trans am it has a 02 Camaro fuel tank in it. What can cause a restriction in the tank on the return line?
Thanks in advance!

Is the intank regulator removed? Did you set the Trick Flow with or without vacuum hooked up?

If you remove the factory regulator it will not allow the unused fuel to return to the bucket. The factory regulator diverts all fuel down the metal tube and into the bucket. You must modify the regulator to act as a cap only.

If you do not do this there is a very good chance you will damage your Racetronix pump.

Fuel systems are usually more complex than most customers think. If someone is to considering changes to their fuel system it would be wise to contact the manufacturer to get advise before making the changes!
