Fuel Regulator question - Fuel system build for LS1
Putting together a fuel system for my 69 Camaro with LS1. Engine should be about 550 at the crank (NA) so I'm going to use a tanksinc fuel injection tank with an in-tank 255 walboro pump. Then a filter and a reguatlor. I would use the corvette regulator/filter but on my last build I noticed with that pump the pressure at my rails was about 62 with no way to dial it down so I swapped to a lower pump and pressure was right at 58.
Anyway, the question is I'm looking at some regulators and they have boost/vacuum reference port on them. With my planned setup can I run the regulator without connecting it to manifold vacuum? Using the stock computer it won't require the regulator to reference and adjust to manifold pressure, correct?
Any regulator and filter recommendations for this setup to handle 550HP outside of using the corvette setup?
