So I tried using a makeshift tool to disconnect one of those PITA ford fuel line fittings, and ended up damaging the clip. No biggie, I can just order a new one, right? Except when I went to install the new one, that got damaged too and one of the tabs ended up falling down into the fuel line. I shook it around and tapped it against my palm trying to get it out, but never did see it. This was several weeks ago, and today I decided to put the relay and fuse for the fuel pump back in and try turning the key to prime some fuel into a milk jug. Did that three times, and still no tab. Am I probably okay to just hook it up and pray that it came out at some point without me noticing?
