Default Info/data on limits of 4th gen f body fuel filter?

I am running out of fuel on long pulls.

In my grand national I currently have aeromotive 340 feeding 7875/6.0 combo on pump gas at 8 psi.

I ordered the walbro 450. I would like to stay single pump as I drive this car a lot (7k miles since last summer) and I don't want the challenges of dual/hobbs switch/etc.

I am using a stock 4th gen camaro fuel filter. I have a 3/8 feed and 5/16 return. I plan to go to 3/8 return.

Is the filter a limitation? Does anyone have data on this? I would prefer not to buy a $100 filter if I dont have to.

I'm curious about this as well. I plan to also use a single walbro 450 in my 02 Z28 with a return system using the 97-98 Vette fuel rails and an adjustable regulator at the rails and the V6 f-body fuel lines for a 5/16" return line to the tank.

I would think it would be fine since many use the dual 255 pump setup on stock lines with no issue which supports similar power.

I know they are not a sponsor here, but the website that sounds boulder auto.com has the filter from the 2013 660hp GT500 for $12.

It is also available at autozone and all the usuals.

This motorcraft filter has 3/8 quick disconnects, and I'm sure has extra room.

Lonnie (the guy who does the twin intanks) stated that twin intank 255's through 3/8 feed and 5/16 return stock lines and filter is good for 700rwhp. The figure jumps to 1000rwhp with an 8an feed and 6an return.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't rate the stock filter for 1000rwhp no matter how big the lines are... I only stated the filter & lines are good for 700rwhp.

Once you start changing lines, it is cheaper to upgrade the filter instead of buying a bunch of adapters to make the stock filter work.
