Default Fuel Gauge not Working Correctly. Please Help Troubleshoot.

Hi guys. I'm using an Auto Meter fuel gauge electronic sender thats connected directly to the fuel rail. I removed the fuel shrader valve and hooked up the sender. Its connected to an Auto Meter Phantom fuel gauge.

The problem I'm having is its showing about 90psi when running, which is way over the stock 60psi it should be showing. I have no mods on the fuel system its stock. Also when I turn the car off the needle just sits and 90psi and dosent drop back to zero. I tried unpluging the gauge but it did not reset.

Not sure if the gauge is broken or if it needs to be calibrated or something?

Any advice?

"Fuel gauge" usually means fuel level. I guess you mean fuel pressure. If it's stuck AFTER shutting down AND unplugging, it's broken.

Ooops. Yeah I meant fuel pressure gauge (not fuel gauge). Guess like it sounds its simply broken then. I will pickup another one and see what happens.
